It is very important to understand that a wedding planner that a wedding venue will offer as part of their package is a very different service to that which an independent wedding planner will offer (which is an incredibly valuable service in itself). My service for example will be a fully comprehensive guide from start to finish for your wedding – making sure there is consistency of style and theme from invites to outfits to band and so on. With an independent event planner such as myself you are bringing in an “on call advisor” to walk you through every detail of planning your big day and make sure your big day has the stamp of your personality about it – not just the reception venue logistics.
